Discord is a well-known online platform for communication. It is especially popular among gamers. Like most social media platforms, employs text messages as well as audio and video calls to help its users communicate. But it gets much better: you can view YouTube videos with your pals, listen to music with them, and there's even an audio room that is reminiscent of the clubhouse. The majority of the platform's services are free. However, the company offers a membership plan that grants you access to additional benefits. Recently there have been some updates to the platform. This update allows you to change your background when making a video call and an additional in-app account switcher (beta).
Discord confirmed in a tweet on November 22nd that they will be adding backdrops for video calls, and users can even utilize images from their galleries as backgrounds. They also introduced a feature that lets you blur your background. While this is welcome news for many Discord users, there is one catch: to utilize photographs from your device as a background, you must subscribe to Nitro, Discord's premium membership service.
It was recently disclosed that Discord would allow you to move between accounts on the app. It has been made available for beta testing to a select group of people. This new feature is now accessible to some in the browser versions of discord, but some users have reported utilizing it through the mobile app. This feature is still being tested so we're not sure when Discord plans to make it available to the general public. but we hope it's soon.
Have had tried the new features yet? Will you be trying them out? Please tell us in the comments section below.
