Last year, we have already got the Pixel Remaster versions of several Final Fantasy games. Now, it is almost time to greet the Pixel Remaster of the last game in the anthology. As announced by Square Enix, the game is planned to be released on February 23.
The studio made an announcement on Twitter and mentioned that this game version will become available for iOS smartphones, Android, and also Steam (Windows PC).
Similar to the previous remasters, this one will have a soundtrack created by Nobuo Uematsu, a composer known for working on the series for many years and creating classic pieces for the game. Players will get upgraded 2D pixel graphics, a music player, a range of content bonuses, and an improved user interface.
According to the description of this Pixel Remaster on Steam, players can expect to get a ‘remodeled 2D take on the sixth game in the world-renowned Final Fantasy series.’ At the same time, the description says that the content of the game and its features can be different from the remasters released earlier. As for the requirements for devices stated on Steam, a computer needs to have a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 OS. When it comes to storage space, you should have at least 1 GB of space on your computer.
At the moment, it is already possible to pre-order the entire Pixel Remaster bundle. If you want to get the entire Final Fantasy remaster set, the price is $95.94. Those who already have certain games or don’t want to get an entire bundle can purchase games separately on Steam. The prices range from $11.99 to $17.99.
