The PlayStation Now subscription service has brought great news to the Final Fantasy franchise fans that will keep them feeling nostalgic for the coming months. It is reported that soon users will be able to stream the best games of this universe to their PC, PS4/5. We tell you which parts and when will be available.
Final Fantasy VII is the first in line to be announced, and it is the original of 1997, not a fresh remake. This game has become the most popular and best-selling. Everything from graphics and gameplay to music and plot is good in it. It is not surprising that it remains in demand even now. Once again, users will be able to experience the epic battle between Cloud Strife and Sephiroth on September 7th. After that, another installment of the series will appear on PlayStation Now every month.
The remastered version of Final Fantasy VIII, which was released in 2019, is slated for publication on October 5th. At one time, it was quite popular, but not like the previous part, which is why many consider it underestimated. In it, the characters, for the first time, got realistic body proportions, and a system of magic points was added to the gameplay. After that, Final Fantasy IX will appear on the service on November 2nd. This part is very different from the previous two in its atmosphere and resembles the original FF of 1987. Critics called it the best in the entire series.
In winter, three more parts await users. Two games are scheduled to be released in December: Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster. These two projects are unique because they are linked by a single plot, which was not previously seen in the franchise. Next January, gamers will be able to play Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (the 2017 updated edition). It became revolutionary as it added many innovations to the project: from free movement around battlefields to a license system and many side quests.
