Video games have progressed from simple puzzle games to elaborate story-driven games. But what is about the worst game? The following list has eight video games that are largely considered classics, and ones that you may have played as a child. In our opinion, these are the 8 terrible video games you've ever played.

1. "The Legend of Zelda" for the NES

The first Legend of Zelda game is awful. The Zelda games are notorious for their difficult games, but this one took it to a new low. It had very unclear objectives and a broken map. It had a few saving graces, like the catchy music, but this game does not compare to the greats of the Zelda series.

2. "Sonic the Hedgehog" for the Sega Genesis

Sonic the Hedgehog may be the most iconic video game character of all time, but his first appearance was a disaster. It was the first game to really utilize a 3D world, but the graphics were terrible and the gameplay was terrible. It was supposed to be a preview of the new 3D world, but instead it was a disaster.

3. "Superman 64"

This game is one of the worst games ever made. It was so bad that the game is known as one of the worst video games of all time. The controls were terrible, the graphics were terrible, and the game flopped.

4. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" for the Playstation

This game is actually pretty good. It was the first game to really capture the thrills of skateboarding and it pioneered a new genre of games. The only problem with this game is that the game is too short.

5. "Need for Speed: The Run"

This game is decent. The graphics are good, the cars are cool, and the music is good. The only problem is that it's very easy to die. If you're not careful, you'll die in a few minutes. It's too easy to die.

6. "SpongeBob Squarepants: The Movie"

The SpongeBob Squarepants: The Movie Game is a Playstation 2 game based on the SpongeBob Squarepants movie. It is a 3D platformer where the player controls SpongeBob as he goes around solving puzzles and fighting enemies.
This is a terrible game: in the few moments where SpongeBob was actually playable, the game was disastrous.

7. "You Don't Know Jack"

"You Don't Know Jack" is a trivia game that has been in production for over 20 years, and has had an update in the last few years. The game was originally released in 1994 but was updated in the year 2000. The game is available on PC, Windows, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. The game was created by Berkeley Systems and is a trivia game with a variety of categories. The game is designed to have a "party" feel, with its different categories and multiple-player options.

Unfortunately, this game is awful. Its graphics, controls, and music are terrible. The only saving grace is that the game has a good sense of humor.

8. "Pitfall!"

Pitfall! is a video game published by Activision and developed by David Crane in 1982. The player controls Pitfall Harry, who has the goal of collecting all the gold in a given screen while avoiding obstacles such as rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas. The player is given a limited amount of time in which to explore each screen before running out of time, as shown by a countdown clock at the top of the screen. If the player runs out of time, the screen will fade to black and the player will lose a life.

Pitfall! is an early example of a platform game, and is seen as one of the most influential games of all time; it was mentioned by video game historian Leonard Herman as the first platform game, and many of its elements have been replicated in other video games since. The game was the first video game to feature a side-scrolling.

However, this game is really hard. The music is terrible, the controls are terrible, and the graphics are terrible for our time. In a word, the game is already too ancient.

What About These Games?

The 8 terrible games listed in the article are terrible because they were not well thought out or their developers were lazy, or they are too old. But if you had to play these games we wanna know just how terrible they are in your opinion.
